Can't I just rent a car seat from the rental car company?
Car rental companies are in the business of renting cars, not car seats, and we've heard and seen some bad car seat situations first hand.  Availability is not guaranteed even if you reserve it in advance. If one is available, you won't be getting anything near the quality you are used to using at home and it may not be clean or properly functioning.

Can't I bring my car seat and stroller?
Be sure to check your airline's policy as restrictions on children's car seats and strollers vary. Airlines generally do not cover damage or breakage of these items and they will be tossed in the airplane luggage hold with everything else unless you carry it onboard. We highly recommend the CARES system instead of a car seat if your child is flying in their own seat.  Keep in mind this is one or two more items that you have to carry through the airport and submit to security screening in addition to your own carry on, diaper bag, and child(ren).  We find a soft carrier works well for the hour before and after the plane ride, or a basic umbrella stroller if necessary.

Can't I get a full sized crib at the hotel?
Generally, no. Most hotels do NOT carry full sized cribs despite what the reservation agent may tell you. They are portable metal cribs or pack n plays and are made up with adult bed sheets which absolutely are not safe for your child to be sleeping on.  Bedding should be properly fitted and we highly recommend bring your own if you will be using a hotel's crib.

Reservations
How far in advance should I make my reservation for my baby gear rentals?
We recommend booking your reservation as soon as your travel plans are confirmed to ensure we have the items you'd like available for you. Items can sell out weeks in advance during spring peak travel periods and holidays.  We do our best to keep sold out dates updated on our website whenever possible. 

What if I need my order delivered within 48 hours?
Please call us at 602-549-9918. We understand emergencies arise and do all we can to accommodate last minute requests.  NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN ON ORDERS PLACED WITHIN 48 HOURS OF DELIVERY.

When will I be charged for my rental items?
Payment is processed at the time your order is confirmed by us via an email confirmation. Your card is required to be on file in the event of any damages.


Can I add to my order later?
Yes, you may add items to your order any time, up until two days prior to your delivery assuming the item is available.  Call or email us to make changes to your order at 602-549-9918 or sarah@sweetpeababyrentals.com 

Can I rent for longer than 2 weeks?
Yes, discounted monthly and long term rates are available by request.

Do you price match?
Yes, we will price match for identical rental items (brand/model).


Cancellations
What happens if I need to cancel my order?

Cancellation/Change Policy:

Except rentals occurring over a holiday period noted below:
  • Full orders cancelled more than 3 days in advance are subject to a $25 processing fee. 
  • Cancellations/changes made within 3 days of your scheduled delivery day are subject to a charge of 50% of each item cancelled, excluding additional delivery charges.  
  • No refunds will be given within 48 hours of scheduled delivery or after the scheduled delivery day.  
  • No refunds will be given for any unused rental days in the case of a delayed arrival or early return.
Holiday Cancellation/Change Policy:
  • Full orders cancelled more than 7 days in advance are subject to a $25 processing fee. 
  • Cancellations/changes made less than 7 days in advance for a rental occurring over a holiday period are subject to a 50% cancellation fee per item excluding any additional delivery fees.
  • No refunds will be given within 48 hours of scheduled delivery or after the scheduled delivery day.  
  • No refunds will be given for any unused rental days in the case of a delayed arrival or early return.

Holidays include President's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas/New Years Week.

What times and days do you deliver items?
Deliveries and pick ups are usually made between the hours of 9 am -12pm or 12-3pm. We can call when we are enroute if requested. Items can also be left on the porch if you are not available at the time of delivery / pick up, or inside if you would like to provide a lockbox code for rental properties. See below for Airport meet/greet options. Same-day and next-day delivery are subject to RUSH delivery fees of $25-$50.


Where do you deliver to and how much does it cost?
Blue shaded area - FREE with rental orders of $100 or more between 9am-3pm (purchased items not included).  Items can/will be left on the porch if you are not available at time of delivery. A delivery/pick up fee of $25 will be added to orders under $100, up to $100 total.
  (Airport meet and greet minimum $100 +$15 delivery, see below). Same-day and next-day delivery are subject to RUSH delivery fees of $25-$50 in addition to standard charges.


Pink shaded area - FREE with rental orders of $125 or more between 9am-3pm (purchased items not included). Items can/will be left on the porch if you are not available at time of delivery. 
A delivery/pick up fee of $35 will be added to orders under $125, up to $125 total.   Same-day and next-day delivery are subject to RUSH delivery fees of $25-$50 in addition to standard charges.
 This includes Anthem, New River, North Scottsdale (Desert Mountain, Terravita, The Boulders, DC Ranch, Greyhawk, Troon, Troon North), Cave Creek, Carefree, Ahwatukee, Ahwatukee Foothills.

Gray shaded area - Minimum $250 order for delivery (purchased items not included).  Items can/will be left on the porch if you are not available at time of delivery. There is no delivery available for orders under this amount.  Same-day and next-day delivery are subject to RUSH delivery fees of $25-$50 in addition to standard charges.
 This includes Fountain Hills, Rio Verde, Chandler, Gilbert, some areas of Mesa.

We are not able to offer delivery service to: Sun Lakes, east Mesa, Phoenix-Williams Gateway Airport, Apache Junction, Gold Canyon, Queen Creek, Johnson Ranch, Florence, Maricopa, Casa Grande, Tucson, Sedona, or Flagstaff.  We are able to meet you at an alternate location however.  Please contact us to arrange a meeting place at 602-549-9918. If you are driving to another destination such as Sedona, Prescott, Flagstaff, Tucson, or other cities from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, we can meet you at the Sky Harbor Rental Car Center with your rental items. See below for more information on Airport Deliveries


Airport Meet and Greet Delivery/Pick up
Meet and Greet with your baby equipment rentals at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport is available at the rental car center for $15 between 10am-8pm. Please contact us to make arrangements if your flight arrives or departs outside these hours.  A minimum order of $100 of rental items applies, not including the $15 delivery fee.  For orders less than $100, a delivery fee will be charged up to $115 total.    Same-day and next-day delivery are subject to RUSH delivery fees of $25-$50 in addition to standard charges. 
 *We must meet you in person. For delivery, we will check your flight and meet you when you arrive at the rental car facility. For returns, we allow for a 10 minute grace period after the specified return time.  Any delays beyond that point will be charged $30/15min  waiting fee unless we are contacted 1 hour in advance and notified of the delay or a change in return time.

Deliveries to Two Locations
Delivery and pick-up to two locations is available for a $35 one time fee (ie the a car seat at the airport and other items to a rental house or hotel). 


Hotel Deliveries
Delivery of your rental items to hotels/resorts are available for the standard delivery fee.


Can I pick my items up?
We allow self pick up by reservation only. We are located in Litchfield Park near Dysart and Camelback Roads.


Set Up
Do you assemble or set up the crib or other items?
Yes, crib assembly is included as well as set up of most other items as necessary. Our cribs arrive fully assembled and folded for your convenience. Should you need to set up yourself, simply unfold the crib. No tools are necessary.

Do you install car seats? 
YES!!!!  Our weekday driver is also a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. If you would like him to install your car seats for you, please notify us in advance so we are able to schedule extra time for your delivery (sorry, we cannot offer this service at the airport). The fee is $15 per car seat, payable to the technician directly.  He will cover proper installation and usage of the car seat in your vehicle. Please have the child's height, weight, and age available at the time of the appointment.  Your vehicle user manual may also be needed so please have it available if possible.



Discounts
Do you offer group/large order discounts?
Contact us for group pricing at 602-549-9918.  All items must be delivered and picked up to the same location and at the same time.  Charges can be split.  



Safety
Are you insured for baby equipment rentals?
Yes, we carry liability insurance. It is difficult to obtain and we are proud to say that we are insured.

How often are products replaced?
Items are monitored for wear and tear after every use and are replaced as necessary when they are no longer in like-new condition. All items are kept within current safety standards and no car seats are used beyond their expiration dates (most are replaced much sooner). 

Why do you specify the brands of the products you use?

We select only top-rated products to use as rental items. We hope you and your little one feel right at home using the same high quality products that you would select for your own use. It's always comforting to know exactly what items you will be getting when you arrive. Very occasionally we need to substitute a like kind item but you will be notified if this is necessary.

Are your products safety checked and sanitized?
Yes, we thoroughly safety check each item after it is returned and carefully clean, launder, and sanitize every rental item. The recall status of all children's products is checked frequently and items are registered with the manufacturer if possible. All items that can be laundered are done so using only hypoallergenic detergent.
