How far in advance should I make my reservation?
Generally 1-2 weeks in advance is preferred but over holiday periods earlier bookings are recommended to ensure your items are available.
What if I need my order delivered within 24 hours?
Please call us at 602-549-9918. We understand emergencies arise and do all we can to accommodate last minute requests. Short notice orders may be subject to an additional $15 charge.
I need my CARES rental shipped to me. How does it work?
Please contact us at 602-549-9918 or sarah@sweetpeababyrentals.com regarding shipping your CARES rental anywhere in the US and Canada. Shipment anywhere in the US is available for $7 ($11 to Canada) via USPS Priority Mail. Expedited shipping is available for additional cost. We are not able to ship any other items besides the CARES harness.
Your rental cost will be calculated using the actual dates that you will be traveling plus applicable shipping fees. For example, if you are traveling Saturday to Saturday, you rental charge will be at the 1 week rate + shipping. The CARES will be shipped no later than 4 days prior to the start of your trip, earlier if possible. Your return shipment must be postmarked the next business day (including Saturdays) after your rental ends. Any additional days will be charged at the daily rental rate of $4/day.
Where do you deliver to and how much does it cost?
Delivery is free to most areas in the Phoenix-metro valley with a $60 minimum order. Please see our delivery area by zip code for rates to extended areas. For orders under $60 in the "free" zones, a delivery fee of $20 applies up to a $60 maximum total.
We specialize in deliveries to the West Valley including Sun City, Surprise, Peoria, Glendale, Tolleson, Laveen, Waddell, Litchfield Park, Goodyear, Avondale, El Mirage, and Buckeye. We also deliver to Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe, and Chandler (delivery fees may apply to extended areas such as north Scottsdale, Cave Creek, Carefree, Anthem, East Mesa, Fountain Hills, Chandler, Gilbert, and Queen Creek).
We offer delivery to Sedona, Prescott, Prescott Valley, and Flagstaff by special request. Please call us at 602-549-9918 regarding orders to these cities.
Airport Deliveries
Free delivery and pick-up to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport are available at either the rental car center or the cell phone waiting lots.
Delivery and pick-up of a car seat to the airport and other items to another "free" location are available for an additional $20.
Hotel Deliveries
Deliveries to hotels are available at no additional charge, unless the order includes a crib. If a crib is included in the order, a set-up fee of $20 applies.
What times and days do you deliver items?
Deliveries and pick ups are usually made between the hours of 9 am and 6 pm every day of the week. Please ask us if you need your items delivered or picked up at other hours.
Can I pick my items up?
Yes, you can pick up your items by appointment from our location in Litchfield Park.
What happens if I need to cancel my order?
Cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled delivery day are subject to a charge of 50% of the full order, excluding any additional delivery charges.
Are you insured?
Yes, we carry liability insurance. Be sure to ask other baby equipment rental companies if they carry insurance because many do not. It is difficult to obtain and we are proud to say that we are insured.
Why do you specify the brands of the products you use?
We select only top-rated JPMA certified products to use as rental items. We hope you and your little one feel right at home using the same high quality products that you would select for your own use. It's always comforting to know exactly what items you will be getting when you arrive. Very occasionally we need to substitute a like kind item (we carry two different brands of baby walkers, for example).
Are your products safety checked and sanitized?
Yes, we thoroughly safety check each item after it is returned and carefully clean, launder, and sanitize every rental item. The recall status of all children's products is checked weekly as well. All items that can be laundered are done so using only Seventh Generation Free and Clear hypoallergenic detergent.
Are your rental items subjected to the Arizona heat in storage?
No, our products are stored indoors in a climate controlled room. They are not subjected to the hot Arizona summer heat which can lead to drying and cracking of wood and plastic parts.
